Post 58 is located in Stayton, Oregon the gateway to the Santiam Canyon of the Cascade Mountains. Post 58 was formed on May 3, 1928. Hershal Clark, Commander; Leo Susbauer, Adjutant and George J. Boedigheimer. The post resided at 363 W. Divison, Sublimity, Oregon. Which is now an open field to the west of Sublimity. On May 3rd, 2021 Post 58 will celebrate its 93rd birthday.

American Legion's Post 58 has helped the Stayton, Oregon Community since 1923. Post 58 has sponsored and adminstered community American Legion Baseball, Boy and Girl State legislature programs, food drives, raffles, along with helping veterans to find better lifes. Post 58, Veterans still Serving

Sons of the American Legion
Stayton's Squadron 58 was founded in 2019. The Sons of the American Legion's mission is to serve veterans, the military and their families and is carried out through its hundreds of outreach programs delivered by its members, volunteers and national headquarters. The Sons of the American Legion's national headquarters is located in Indianapolis
American Legion Riders
Stayton founded their Chapter in 2018. American Legion Riders chapters are known for their charitable work that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded servicemembers and scholarships. Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001.
American Legion Baseball
American Legion Baseball is a national institution, having thrived through a world war, several national tragedies, and times of great prosperity as well as great despair. The league still stands behind the traditional values upon which it was founded in 1925. American Legion Baseball has taught hundreds of thousands of young Americans the importance of sportsmanship, good health and active citizenship.
